| Board Composition: | The Chief’s Complaint and Administrative Review Board (CARB) is made up of two independent boards: Sworn and Civilian. The Board rotates members every six (6) months. The Chief’s Complaint and Administrative Review Board (CARB) is also commonly referred to as the Complaint and Administrative Review Board (CARB). |

| Categories: | The Sworn Board has seven (7) members comprised of the following ranks: Deputy Chief, Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant, Detective, and two (2) Officers. The Civilian Board has seven (7) Community members approved by City Council. The Deputy Chief serves as the Board Chairperson. |
| Mission/Purpose: | The Complaint and Administrative Review Board (CARB) reviews cases of alleged non-criminal misconduct committed by police officers. After reviewing the cases, CARB Members make recommendations to the Chief of Police as to whether discipline is warranted. |
| Meeting Schedule & Location: | Meetings are usually held every two weeks on Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. in the Internal Affairs Conference Room, City Tower, 100 W. Houston St. |
