Board Composition: | The Watershed Improvement Advisory Committee (WIAC) is comprised of fifteen members representing various entities: five (5) City Council representatives; five (5) Bexar County Commissioners Court representatives; and five (5) San Antonio River Authority (SARA) Board of Directors representatives. Each member serves for a two-year term. WIAC is not a public-facing committee and does not accept applications from residents or any other outside organizations or agencies. |

Mission/Purpose: | WIAC serves to advise the parties on the development of the Watershed Master Plan, the annual editions of the Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan, the Annual Capital Improvement Plan, and to provide oversight to the implementation of the Capital Improvement Projects.
The WIAC reviews and comments on the criteria developed by the Management Committee for use annually to prioritize the projects to be selected for inclusion in the schedule of potential capital improvement projects.
The WIAC reviews and comments on the scheduling of potential capital improvement projects prior to their submission to the Committee of Seven. The Committee advises the parties on public awareness activities and serve as the community advocate for the Bexar Regional Watershed Management Program.

Meeting Schedule & Location: | The WIAC will meet as often as necessary, but not less than four times a year. Meeting times and locations vary. |
