Board Composition: | The Airport Advisory Commission (AAC) is comprised of 19 At-Large members appointed by City Council to staggered two-year terms. A majority of members is required to meet a quorum. |

Categories: | Voting members are comprised of 18 members, including three members from the aviation industry; six members from the community; two members from the travel and tourism industry; four members from the business community; one member from the ground transportation industry Representative; one member representing an airport business - lessee; and, one member from Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) Representative. The one non-voting member is a representative of the Federal Aviation Administration.

Mission/Purpose: | The mission shall be to advise the Aviation Director on matters affecting the City’s airports and air transportation initiatives to include noise compatibility issues. |
Meeting Schedule & Location: | Unless otherwise posted, meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. at the San Antonio International Airport, Stinson Municipal Airport or Alamo Area Council of Governments buildings. Beginning in FY 2024, the meetings will be held at the Airport Center. |
