Board Composition: | The City of San Antonio Higher Education Student Advisory Board (HESAB) is composed of 11 Members currently enrolled in a local College or University: 10 District Appointed Student Members appointed by their respective Councilmembers and one (1) Student Member appointed by the Mayor. Student Member serve a two-year term of office concurrent with the term of the appointing City Councilmember. |

Mission/Purpose: | The City of San Antonio Higher Education Student Advisory Board (HESAB) serves to help increase college enrollment, retention of college graduates, and advises the Mayor and City Council on policy matters of interest to students who are enrolled in colleges and universities in San Antonio.
